Now you can listen to all your favourite records and tapes ANYWHERE you wish. We specialise in converting records to CD, cassettes to CD, MiniDiscs to CD and videos to DVD.

Fader Music can convert your old vinyl records to CD. LPs, EPs, 45s, 78s, MiniDiscs to CD.  Reel to Reel tape and Audio tape to CD. VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV and 8mm video tapes to DVD. We can also reduce those crackles, clicks and unwanted noises from your old records.

Once on CD or DVD they can be played as a normal CD or DVD anywhere or easily be transferred to your mp3 player to give even more flexibility in where you listen to your favourite recordings.



With the near extinction of VHS Video Tape and Recorders,why not transfer your old Video Tapes on to DVD



The Transfer service includes:

  • Transferring your original recordings to Digital files to allow editing
  • Standard transfers include removal of a high proportion of crackles, clicks and background noise
  • Transfer new improved recordings to CD/DVD and create a package equivalent to a commercially bought CD/DVD i.e. Track listings and Jewel case/CD labels (Case type may vary from that shown)

NOTE: Jewel case and CD labels are produced generically as standard (see photo) and, although they will not mimic your LP cover they will include the LP title and artists name on the front and a full track list.

However, you can request that we scan your LP label and sleeve cover (front) and create CD and jewel case labels from them (see Prices page) 



Terms and Conditions

  1. All material transferred by Fader Music at your request must be fully owned by you and must be the original recording
  2. Your request must not intentionally copy a commercially available CD/DVD for re-sale.
  3. Your order will be processed on the understanding that the resulting CD/DVD will not be copied in any way, and they will be used for the purpose of private listening and viewing only and that no material should be broadcast,hired or leased in any way whatsoever.
  4. In order to comply with Copyright Laws you must retain ownership of the original recorded material whilst in possession of the CD/DVD provided by us. If the original recording is sold on, then the CD/DVD must be sold with it.
  5. By using this site and its services you take full responsibility for all Copyright issues under the 'Fair Use' provisions of Copyright Law.
  6. 'Fair Use' means that, because you own the original recordings,you are allowed to transfer them to any other media for personal use only. This allows Fader Music to offer this service to you without infringeing any Copyright Laws.
  7. CD's and DVD's produced by Fader Music are produced in formats which will play on most modern players. We can not guarantee however that they will play on every CD/DVD player and therefore you can request a Test Disc from us to help you decide if our DVD's or CD's are compatible with your equipment.
  8. Fader Music's liability is limited to the value of the material only and not its recorded content. If damage occurs in our care we will endeavour to replace the damaged material with that of similar or better quality.
